ViralX is a creator tool — and to be honest about it, it’s a glorified plagiarism tool. The pitch is simple: the platform finds what’s trending on Instagram right now, ranks it on leaderboards, and for any piece of viral content gives you a transcript plus a script you can use to recreate that video in your own style. News, skit, comedy, whatever — the content gets reverse-engineered into a reusable script. You shoot your version. You post it.
What I built
The full backend. End-to-end pipeline from Instagram scraping → trend detection → leaderboards → transcript extraction → script generation. Plus the infra under it: scaling, analytics, the AI orchestration that ties the stages together. Once the platform was working I handed it off to a team that continued building it.
What it does in practice
- Continuous large-scale Instagram scraping
- Real-time trend leaderboards
- Transcript + script generation per viral video
- Per-creator analytics on what’s working in their niche
I’m not going to oversell the ethics of it — the tool does what it does.
